Another new feature coming with TurboLaw Time and Billing Version 3 (due out early in Spring 2014) is automatic payment application – that is, whenever you save a bill you will be prompted to apply payment (if money is available on a client’s account).
With this new feature, whenever you save a bill, if there is an available balance on the client’s account (or in any retainer accounts), you will be prompted to apply those funds towards the bill. TurboLaw Time and Billing will draw from retainer accounts first followed by any other available payments, based on the dates the payments were received (oldest first).
This way, you’ll never accidentally forget to apply payment to a bill – just another way TurboLaw Time and Billing helps you keep your billing properly organized & prevent mistakes.
