TurboLaw UpdateVersion 3.08 of TurboLaw Document Software has just been released, and as usual we’ve made a number of improvements based on feedback we’ve received from our users.

One major change we’ve made is that the new “Favorites” category (for your “favorite” or frequently used documents) now appears for every case by default, even if you haven’t added any documents to it yet. (Previously, the “Favorites” category would only appear as an option once you’d added at least one document to it.)

The “Favorites” category now appears by default.

We introduced the “Favorites” feature in the last version of TurboLaw, but a lot of people told us they didn’t even notice it – so now it appears by default, to let people know that it is there. So far, the response to it has been overwhelmingly positive, and we want to make sure everyone can make us of it!

Other changes and improvements in this version of TurboLaw include:

  • Temporary files created by Microsoft Word (those files that begin with “~$”) are no longer shown in the “Saved Documents” window, so that they don’t clutter the view or get opened by mistake.
  • Clicking “Save Firm Info” on the “My Firm” tab (or in the Welcome Wizard) will now go through all cases in TurboLaw and make sure the firm’s address is properly updated everywhere.
