TurboLaw Update
We’re very excited to announce the first new version of TurboLaw Document Software for 2013, TurboLaw version 3.07! As always, we’ve been listening closely to what you’ve been saying about TurboLaw, as well as thinking hard about how we can make the program even better and easier for you.

New Feature: Favorites!

The biggest new feature of version 3.07 is the addition of “favorite” documents.

New feature: favorite documents

You can now create your own list of “favorite” documents in TurboLaw.

This feature allows you to create your own custom list of “favorite” documents (specific to each area of practice) so that you don’t have to go hunting around for the documents you use frequently.

Just click the new favorite “star” button to add any document to your own personal “favorite” documents list. The list of favorite documents always appears first when you open up a case to create documents, so it’s faster and easier than ever to get to the documents you need the most.

Other New Features and Improvements

Other new features and improvements in this version of TurboLaw Document software are:

  • For Probate cases, you can now easily re-use addresses of other parties (for example, when multiple parties all live at the same address) so you don’t have to re-type them over and over again.
  • For Corporate, Probate, and Real Estate cases, you can now select what role a party has in the case via a drop-down list of checkboxes, instead of a huge grid of checkboxes.
  • For Probate cases, you can now enter additional information, such as the decedent’s “domiciled at” address, as well as any aliases the decedent had, and this information will be merged into documents as appropriate.
  • To help keep your data safe, TurboLaw now reminds you periodically to back up your data.

We hope you enjoy these new features. If you have automatic updates turned on (they are on by default) you will receive this update automatically the next time you open TurboLaw. If you don’t have automatic updates turned on, you can turn them on by clicking the Updates menu and choosing Update Options. Or, if you prefer to check for updates manually, just click Check for Updates instead.
