Version 2.03 of TurboLaw Time and Billing has just been released, and as usual this update brings with it a whole host of improvements, including new reports, new sorting and grouping options, and new icons. We also added an option to let you re-assign billing categories when you delete them, so you can better manage your categories and avoid having “uncategorized” items by mistake. Additionally, there have been some behind-the-scenes improvements to improve resiliency, help detect problems, and reduce memory usage.
- Two new reports: client balances and overdue invoices.
- New sorting and “sort by” buttons for all list windows.
- New options to show or hide the “groups” in list windows (where applicable).
- New icons for time & expenses, making it easier to differentiate between both time and expenses – as well as whether they have been billed or not – with just a glance.
- There is now an option for “what’s new” on the help menu, so you can review what was added or improved in the most recent version (as well as previous versions).
- Voided bills no longer appear on statements.
- Improved start up performance for larger databases so that the program opens more quickly.
- Added an option to re-assign billing categories when they are deleted.
As always, if you have automatic updates enabled (and they are enabled by default), you will receive this new version automatically the next time you open TurboLaw Time and Billing.
