The next update to TurboLaw Time and Billing is finally here: version 2.01 has just been released! This new version combines a lot of behind-the-scenes changes with a lot of other little tweaks to the program that make the overall experience that much better.

Specifically, the improvements and changes in this version are:

  • When viewing a single time or expense entry, you can now see what bill (if any) this entry appears on
  • Matters can now have a custom ID, just like clients can
  • If you try to close the program while a stopwatch is open, you now get a prompt warning you, so you don’t lose any time you were recording
  • TurboLaw Time and Billing now uses the SQLite database file format by default
  • It is now possible to convert a database file from one format to another using the “Save as” option
  • When entering time or expenses for a matter, or for a bill that is assigned to a matter, the “matter” drop-down box is now automatically filled out for you

As always, if you have automatic updates enabled (and they are enabled by default), you will receive this new version automatically the next time you open TurboLaw Time and Billing.
