We’re always looking for ways to make TurboLaw even easier to use. That’s why for version 2.80 we decided to take a long hard look at the Network Setup Assistant, which helps you configure TurboLaw for use on a network.

The Network Setup Assistant has been re-designed using a modern look & feel, and we’ve streamlined the process even further. This new Network Setup Assistant is even easier to use, with clear, descriptive labels that can be understood at a glance.

You may have seen these type of labels before – they are used extensively in Windows Vista and Windows 7, as well as in other TurboLaw products (such as TurboLaw Time and Billing and TurboLaw Bankruptcy). You can click on these new label-buttons to make your selection.

Additionally, the Network Setup Assistant has been revised to make it easier to network TurboLaw for the first time. If you are just setting up TurboLaw on a network for the first time, TurboLaw will give you the option to copy your files to your network. This option has been improved and its description clarified in version 2.80.

Although most people will only ever use the Network Setup Assistant once, we feel that making it easier to use and understand is very important. After all, you don’t need to be a computer expert to use TurboLaw, so you shouldn’t need to be an expert to configure it for your network so other TurboLaw users can see your cases and files.

This is just one of the many changes we’ve made in version 2.80 to make TurboLaw even easier to use. Stay tuned this month as we highlight some of the other changes coming in version 2.80!
