Getting Help
Form fields in documents appear as { FORMTEXT }
Details:
When you open a TurboLaw document, the gray form fields in the document are all filled with the text { FORMTEXT }. Some fields may be filled with different text, but they will still be enclosed by the "curley" braces (i.e. { }).
Resolution:
This problem is caused by having the option to display form field codes turned "on" in Word. To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
- Open Word (or any document that displays the problem)
- Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen and choose "Options"
- You will be shown the "View" tab. Towards the right, un-check the box which says "Field Codes."
- Click "OK."
The text which says "{ FORMTEXT }" should now be gone.
