The choose template window allows you to choose the template (style) for your bills and statements.

A preview of the selected template is displayed on the right.
Once you have picked a template, click OK to save your changes and close the window.
You can also double-click a template to customize that template. Doing this will open the template designer window.
This list displays the built-in templates that are included with TurboLaw® Time and Billing. These templates cannot be changed directly; instead, if you customize one of these templates, it will be added to "My Templates." The original built-in template will remain unchanged, so you cannot accidentally damage the original.
Clicking this button (or double-clicking on a built-in template name) will create a new template based on the built-in template you selected. You will be asked to give the new template a name (you do not have to change it if you do not want to, but it does have to be unique among all the templates listed under "My Templates"), and once you have done this it will be added to "My Templates" and the template designer window will open, allowing you to customize the template.

You can right-click on a template's name to open a context menu with additional options for managing your templates.
Note: you can only right-click on templates in "My Templates." Built-in templates cannot be changed directly.

Clicking this menu item will open the template designer window. This allows you to customize every aspect of the template. This is exactly the same as double-clicking a template, or clicking the Customize button.
Clicking this menu item will allow you to change the displayed name of a template.
Clicking this menu item will allow you to export (save) your template somewhere else on your computer. You can use this option to save a template you have customized so that you can then move it to another computer.
Clicking this menu item will allow you to import a template that you have exported from another computer.
Clicking this menu item will allow you to delete a template from your template library.
