That’s right – TurboLaw Time and Billing Version 3 is here! This is without a doubt the biggest upgrade to TurboLaw Time and Billing we’ve ever released, and the list and scope of all the new features and improvements reflects that. Many of these new features were directly inspired by feedback we’ve received from our customers – and we thank you for that feedback!
We’re sure you’re going to love the new version of TurboLaw Time and Billing – here’s some of the biggest new features and improvements:
- Separate Trust & Retainer Accounts
- Separate “payment” and “retainer” fields on bills
- Track & report payments from IOLTA accounts
- Easily add line-item discounts to bills
- Show payment details as line-items on bills (i.e., “No more printing a statement with every bill!”)
- Automatic bill payments
If you’re a current subscriber – or if you’re still in the middle of your free trial – you’ll receive this update automatically the next time you open the program.
Some of the other features & improvements we’ve made in this version are:
- Added more bill templates formatted for multiple matter billing
- Improved the “Getting Started” screen
- Added an “Enter Starting Balance” button to allow for easy entry of a starting or previous balance for a client
- Added an option to use Uniform Task-Based Billing Codes as categories
- Added a “Open Recent” menu to the “File” menu to list the most recently opened database files for easy access
- Added a “Last Billed Date” field to the “Edit Client” window
- Changed the formatting when printing out a payment or a deposit so they can function as a “receipt”
- Added a “How Do I…” menu with answers to common questions to the “Help” menu
We’ve also made a number of other small behind-the-scenes improvements & tweaks. For the complete list of all the features, improvements, changes, and fixes, you can click the Help menu and choose What’s New (after your program has been updated, of course).
